As a teacher, I've heard all kinds of excuses for not doing homework. I even had a student's parent write a note swearing that the chewed up paper on my hands was eaten by their dog. This story tops all of the excuses for not doing homework. Great illustrations. Highly recommended.

My Homework Ate My Dog is a cute and clever play on the age-old excuse all kids love to use! The rhymes worked really well with the story, I loved the art, and parents will enjoy reading this along with their children. Definitely one that has reread value. Highly recommend picking this one up for the kiddos in your life!
My kids loved this story of the homework monster that ate everything in sight... including the teacher for his very last bite! The rhyming was done well and kids of all ages will enjoy this silly tale.
Cute, silly and creative. This book is easy to read and flows really well. It's a creative story that I'm sure any kid who feels overwhelmed by homework or just doesn't want to do it, would enjoy.
Now there are some imagination. What a great story. I absolutely loved the teachers expressions and the grandkids laughed at every page turn. I love the twist at the end I did not see that coming. Well written and the illustrations are awesome.

This book is hilariously my daughter laughed the entire time. I love how the homework played so many different rolls. I will definitely be taking this book to school with me tomorrow to read to my student

I personally liked the creativity of the author and the originality of the story. It is one of a kind, very entertaining and relatable. As a mom of young kids, I could feel the frustration the kid had when he was asked his homework at school. Lol. I highly recommend to check this book out!
